Login or sign up to My Account, for domestic customers only, to make the most of our online services. It’s easy to sign up and switch to paperless billing if you haven’t already, all you’ll need is your customer reference number and some of your details so you can pass our security checks.

Understanding my credit
Your account may be in credit at different points in the year, this is because you are likely to use more water at different times.
Benefits of My Account
- Move date You can let us know up to two days in advance of your move
- Meter reading If known
- Forwarding address We’ll need a forwarding address to send a final bill to. If you do not have a forwarding address, you will need to contact us.
- Landlord/Letting Agent details If applicable, you will need your landlord/letting agent details for the property you are moving in to.
View account information such as balance, paperless bills and letters within the My Account dashboard. These options can be found by selecting your account and clicking the 'view paperless bills, payments & letters' button on the right of your dashboard.
You can also manage payments, change your details and check for any issues in your area within the dashboard.
You'll also be able to download recent bills to print off.
If you're on a water meter, we'll let you know when your reading is needed. We've made it easier and faster for you to submit the reading itself too!
Set up a direct debit to pay your bill or amend the date and bank details for your active direct debit.
Make a payment online against your account and save time by passing our security checks.
We'll let you know if there are any issues affecting your area (for example, if there's a burst or emergency near you). You can then find out more information and sign up for email updates on our progress.
If you have a water meter, you can compare your usage to that of an average property of your size, giving you the information you need to make any changes to your usage and save money, water and the environment!
Signing up to My Account will also mean you'll receive your bill online and not through the post. Instead, you'll be able to see your bill instantly in your secure online account at any time. We'll email or text you to let you know your bill or letters are available too.

Welsh Water plans to invest £4 billion over the next 5 years (2025-2030), a 68% increase compared to the previous 5 years. This investment includes a record £2.5 billion dedicated to protecting and improving the environment. The investment plan also focuses on improving drinking water compliance and reducing customer complaints about water quality.
