Add or remove a name from account


We know there are many different circumstances when it comes to add a name to an account or removing a name.

New Customers

If you are moving in with someone who doesn’t already have an account with us, you can open a new account in joint names.

Existing Customers

If you are moving in with someone who already has an account with us and you want to add your name, we will need to close the existing account and open a new one in joint names.

If you would like your name removed from a joint account, we will need to close the existing account and open a new one in the name of the person who will continue to live there.

If you need to remove a name from an account due to a bereavement, you can let us know here .
