The HelpU tariff helps low income households by putting a cap on the amount you have to pay for your water.

This is for you if...

  • Someone in the household receives a means tested benefit
  • The combined household income is under £18,800
  • The combined household income is under £18,800

Good to know...

  • You'll need to re-apply for this tariff every 12 months
  • We exclude some types of income from the total calculation
  • If you have a meter and your usage is lower than the tariff, we'll switch you back

WaterSure Wales

If you already have a meter, or have requested one, the Bill Cap - WaterSure Wales tariff puts a cap on the amount you have to pay for your water.

This is for you if...

  • Someone in the household receives a means tested benefit
  • Have 3 or more children under the age of 19 living at your home who you can claim Child Benefit
  • Have a member of your household with a medical condition that requires significant use of extra water

  • You'll need to re-apply for this tariff every 12 months
  • We exclude some types of income from the total calculation
  • If you have a meter and your usage is lower than the tariff, we'll switch you back

Water Direct Scheme

If you're in financial hardship and you're in debt with us, the Water Direct Debt scheme may help by paying your water charges and debt through your benefits.

This is for you if...

  • Someone in the household receives a means tested benefit
  • Have 3 or more children under the age of 19 living at your home who you can claim Child Benefit
  • Have a member of your household with a medical condition that requires significant use of extra water
