What is a boil water notice?
We always aim to supply drinking water of a very high standard, and to do this we carry out regular tests to make sure it remains that way. Monitoring checks may show your water supply may have fallen below our normal high standards. This is when a boil water notice will be issued.
All customers in the affected areas are advised to boil their water with immediate effect before using it for drinking or cooking purposes.
We appreciate the inconvenience of boiling water, but hope customers understand the reason for us taking these necessary steps.
